The Organizing and Scientific Committee of the Conference "Geometric topology, discrete geometry and set theory " provides the following information about the Conference including the conditions of  registration and accommodation.

 There will be six one-hour invited speakers for the General Plenary Sessions. Four Panels of the Conference Sections will select the 45-minute speakers for the Thematic Plenary Sessions. The lists of the one-hour and 45-minute speakers will soon be available at the Web-site of the Conference.

 In addition to the presentations of the Invited one-hour Speakers at the General Plenary Sessions and of the 45-minute Speakers at the Thematic Plenary Sessions there will  be Contributed  20-minute presentations at the Thematic Sessions. Due to the intensity of the program and the time limitations, the Organizing and Scientific Committee will not be able to give time for a 20-minute talk to all the authors. The selection of these talks will be made by the Panels of the Sections.

 The decision of the Panels will be announced at the Conference Website before June 15.

 Abstracts

  The participants in the Conference are requested to submit the abstracts of their communications (1 page) to be published in the Collection of the Abstracts before the beginning of the Conference.

  The abstracts should be typed in accordance with the file "abstract.tex" which is available at this web-site.   The abstracts of the registered participants will be published in the "Collection of Abstracts" before the Conference.

   If you will wish to insert some changes into your abstract, please send us a new version of the abstract file, both in the LaTeX and the PostScript formats, to the E-mail address of the Conference:  keldysh-100@mi.ras.ru. Registration

For the registration, you (and any accompanying persons) should do the following as soon as possible:
1. Fill in the Registration Form available at this Web-site.
2. If you need Russian visa, fill in the Visa Form available at this Web-site. (For those foreign persons who will choose to stay at the MSU hotel this is necessary.)
3. Send (no later than  May 15, 2004 ) the abstract of your paper (1 page) both in the LaTeX and the PostScript formats to the following E-mail address: keldysh-100@mi.ras.ru

Deadline

  The Organizing and Scientific Committee of the Conference "Geometric topology, discrete geometry and set theory " announces the deadline for submitting the Registration Form, the Visa Form --- May 1, 2004, and the Abstract --- May 15, 2004.

Registration fee


  For the Russian participants and the participants from the Community of Independent States, there is no Registration fee. These participants are asked to pay (during the Registration) for the Conference dinner.

  For the  participants from other states the Registration fee is 100 USD and it is 50 USD for the persons accompanying the foreign participants. The Registration fee should be paid during the Registration. For these participants and their accompanying persons, the cost of the Conference dinner is included in the Registration fee and will be paid by the Organizing Committee.

Official invitation

   The participants who need the official invitation (in electronic or surface form) should send a request to the E-mail address of the Conference: keldysh-100@mi.ras.ru. If a hard copy of the invitation is needed please provide us with the postal address.

Participants preparing slides for the overhead projector on a computer are asked to use the letters no smaller than 5 millimeters in height. The participants who prepare presentations for the overhead projector by hand, are asked to use large capital letters and to write the main text in black   or blue colors. The preferable number of   lines per page is 10--14.
 

Accommodation

Some number of participants can be accommodated at the "UNIVERSITY HOTEL", located directly in the main building of Moscow State University. It offers blocks consisting of two small rooms; each block is equipped with a shower, a toilet and some minimal commodities. Prices vary between $15 and $20 per night. You can find more details at http://www.msu.ru/english/info/host/ds.htm. In this case filling in the Visa Form is obligatory.

Accommodation at nearby hotels at all levels of comfort is an alternative but more expensive option. We shall provide you more information upon request. Please inform us about your preferences so that the Organizing Committee can make the appropriate reservations. One of the alternative options may be hotel “Sputnik” of a good class not far from University, look at http://hotelsputnik.ru.
